Well, I have almost finished this Music Technology course at college, and if I don't get onto the advanced years then I'll be moving onto studying very different courses indeed.

These consist of Psychology, Human and Social Biology, English and blah blah various other boring sounding subjects. Of course I'm merely doing this so I can have some solid qualifications that employers will look at and notice that I have more BASIC qualifications rather than just specialising in Music alone. If I do this other course then it will last about only 1 year before I will be expected to move onto advanced University level which means I have to apply before this coming Christmas!

My first choice for University for the psychology and all that course would be:

If I did the advanced music course, I would be expected to go to advanced University level in 2 years time since the music course lasts 2 years. I'm not sure what Uni I will choose for this but I will go in for a more classic training like theory of music etc. so I can get a better understanding of more orchestral music necessary for creating soundtracks.

GAH It's hard because even though they seem like 2 completely seperate paths, I will still be doing music all the time. Film and game composition is freelance work so I don't NEED qualifications necessarily in music, but it helps. Either way both paths will give me career opportunities so I just have to see how things pan out!
